The Hollis Garden Club’s annual plant sale will take place on Saturday May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Monument Square, Hollis. There will be a great selection of hardy perennials, colorful annuals, shrubs, herbs, eye-catching hanging baskets, and Mother’s Day Baskets. A new offering this year will be one-of-a-kind decorative glass garden art.

The MILFORD GARDEN CLUB will be holding its annual Plant Sale on May 19 from 8:30-1:00 on the Community House Lawn. Choose from a wide variety of locally grown perennials, enjoy bake table, take a chance on raffle items, and visit kids corner. Vendors will have annuals, hanging basket, jams and jellies and hand forged items. Musical entertainment provided by Sparrow’s Joy.

FYI: The Manchester Animal Shelter is looking for volunteers to help with their 6th annual plant sale and raffle to be held on Saturday, June 2, from 9 to 1. Help is needed prior to the event and on the day of the event. Contact Kathy Wentworth at 624-2806 if you can help.
